Christopher Knowles’ works capture and order everyday materials around us through repetition, abstraction and pattern formation. Permutation and seriality are important characteristics in minimalist art, that Knowles uses in his own way. Time becomes a landscape in his work, a visual pattern. Language is made physical, colours often refer to their iconic or political meaning.
This exhibition will be a mixture of older and newer works that convincingly shows the scope and universe of Knowles’ practice.
