Archipelago.page is a recently developed online platform, whose central concern is a flexible and constantly expanding collection of thematic clusters. Its' contents originate from the visual arts, but are not limited to it. The topics arise largely from the interests of the founding members of this set of islands - the team of Kunstverein Langenhagen.

The structure of the webpage resembles an archipelago with it's different islands, their specific characteristics and mutual influences - which is why we named the platform ‘Archipelago’. The various thematic islands of the archipelago consist of what is given little or no space within the exhibition medium.

Current Clusters deal, for example, with the subject of ‘Heimat’ (Homeland), with ‘experimental art education’ and with the artist Christopher Knowles, whose work was recently shown in a solo exhibition at the Kunstverein. Processes and sources of research will be made visible and available through texts, images, videos, sound pieces or even reading recommendations. Various clusters are to be added continuously, and they can also arise in cooperation with other institutions or artists...
