An exhibition of the artist Paula Löffler in the classroom M12 of the IGS Langenhagen. The project 'Art in the classroom' is a one-year collaboration between the Kunstverein Langenhagen and the class 10.2 of the IGS Langenhagen.

For an entire school-year the Kunstverein Langenhagen commits to a project with a class of the IGS Langenhagen. The project takes place in a regularly used classroom. The normal "movement" is reversed: the students do not come to the Kunstverein, but the Kunstverein comes to them.

Three artists are invited to each create an exhibition in the classroom. For three times throughout the school year, the pupils learn and live with these exhibitions. The classroom embodies both school and an exhibition space at the same time.

The emphasis of this project lies on the intensive and long-term collaboration with the students. They are involved in each creation process of the artworks and the exhibitions and get many opportunities to discuss their thoughts, questions and ideas with artists.
